To teach students in the Republic of Cameroon English language skills, especially speaking skills. It is our goal that students learn how to speak English like a native North American. Teachers will also teach students about American culture.

Why Volunteer with IAEL

This program will enable teachers to gain valuable teaching experience abroad, specifically in the Republic of Cameroon. Teachers will also learn about Cameroonian culture. Cameroon is a politically stable country with a uniquely rich French culture and abundant natural beauty and wildlife. Volunteers are encouraged to experience the beauty and culture of Cameroon.

If volunteers are interested in learning French, this would be a good opportunity to do so.

Teachers that successfully complete the program will be provided with a certificate of completion from IAEL.
